In 1995, when his sons were 1 and 3 years old, Dennis Fedoruk, President and CEO of The Brainy Baby Company, was having a hard time finding quality, entertaining and educational products for his boys. He and his wife wanted something reality-based and intelligent for both parents and children. As a successful film-maker and video producer with over 25 years of experience under his belt, it seemed the time was right to produce a new educational video series unlike anything else that was on the market. And so Brainy Baby was born!

With intelligent and insightful input from parents, educators, doctors, and - most especially - lots of babies and children, Brainy Baby have seen their little company grow up before their very eyes! The Brainy Baby Company produces videos and DVDs that are entertaining and educational for babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers. The Brainy Baby Learning Library™ has been created to help you introduce a variety of important early-learning fundamentals to your baby, toddler and preschool-age child, and is designed to maximize your child's learning! Each program is 45 minutes long, and each one is crafted with a creative mix of reality-based visuals and colorful graphics, combined with both classical music and fun, kid-friendly songs! All videos and DVDs in the Brainy Baby® series are designed for you and your child to watch together. The programs are specially paced for young viewers to first capture their attention, and then allow for a "teachable moment" to occur. This slower pacing also makes it easy for you to pause the video or DVD at any time to point out familiar objects or repeat words together.
